缺貨 Out of Stock
在便利商店打工的Jimmy上貨和補貨的速度又快又有效率，但若遇上熱門商品或是兌換的小禮物缺貨時，除了好好跟客人解釋之外，還真一點辦法都沒有呢！
缺貨公告說明白
商品缺貨（out of stock）時，店家會於陳列處標示公告，讓消費者（consumer）知道。若只是暫時缺貨，有需要的顧客可以進一步向店員詢問商品上架的日期，確保能取到貨。

得知缺貨後，顧客關切的是進貨（restock）日期，英文日期的說法這時就會派上用場。通常會缺貨的都是熱門商品（popular item），來詢問等候的人想必也不少，所以這時就要詢問顧客的名字和電話，好將資訊登記在等候名冊（waiting list）上，以便日後通知。
